Do you qualify for a Fulbright Scholarship?
Students pursuing various degrees are eligible for the Fulbright fellowship. Please review this eligibility checklist to discover if you are eligible to compete in this tournament.
1 Course Eligibility Check: The interested applicant should check the material offered on the websites of universities that demand a specific degree, such as a Ph.D. or a Master’s degree.
Candidates for the Master’s degree programme must have a four-year Bachelor’s degree or a combination of a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree comprising 16 years of formal education from an approved university. With the exception of MBA and Public Policy/Administration applicants, who must have two years of experience, recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
A Master’s, M.Phil., or comparable degree (a minimum of 18 years of formal education) from an approved university is required for applicants to the Ph.D. degree programme. Candidates with prior teaching, research, or university administration experience are strongly preferred.
All academic fields, with the exception of clinical medicine, are eligible for both the Master’s and Ph.D. programmes. The Graduate Record Examination (GRE General) is required of all applicants. The new scoring method requires a minimum of 138 in the verbal exam and 136 in the quantitative section. Applicants must be fluent in both spoken and written English. The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) will be needed of all selected candidates.
2 English Language Proficiency Test: English is widely accepted for programmes including teaching. The type of project, however, is the key determinant of this requirement, and as a result, a solid command of foreign languages may be necessary.
